I was just curious to want routines people esp. women use when exercising. I don’t have any kind of machinery and hate going to the gym. So tell me, what do you do at home??

I have about 20 different work out videos. I try to look for the ones that are fun more than anything. I hit up local thrift stores and garage sales for them. The Richard Simmons ones are my favorite because he is fun, the music is fun and I feel like I’m dancing more than exercising. Plus I have 2 toddlers and an infant and the older kids like to dance with me when I do Richard Simmons’ tapes.
I walk when its nice outside. Inside I do as much cardio as I can stand and then some weights. And to end I do some stretching to enlongate my body. Good luck!
I recommend “I Want That Body!” by Tamilee Webb to all women (and men). That has strength and toning exercises for arms, abs, and buns (which actually work out the entire body and not just those places). Strength training should be done 2-3 days a week. As for cardio, a lot of girls I know like dance fitness videos because they’re FUN!
DANCE!! i dance to my favorite songs and create moves as i go along. when watching music videos i try to catch some of what they do. and jogging out in the open air is also good. its good for you heart. be sure to do some streches before exercising though.

I know what you mean, I hate the gym, too. It’s only fun if I can drag friends along. I actually enjoy being outdoors so last year I started a recreational walking club in my neighborhood. We walk 2-3 times a week from anywhere between 40mins to an hour and a half. I also own 4 or 5 Tae Bo tapes to kick up the intensity once a week and I use free weights in my home. Taking dance classes at local dance studios is always a fun way to add variety to your routine. Try something like bellydancing, which really works your midsection and releases your inner Goddess!
